DESCRIPTION
The 744.15 yagi is deigned for use in the air navigation band, particulary for stationary transponder use. The "aircraft wing" geometry of the radome minimises wind area. The use of a PTFE printed circuit feed allows wide band operation, and increases antenna power handling capability. The radome protects the antenna from severe weather conditions, reduces precipitation noise, and deters the formation of ice.
